1. Prohibited activity
- Using Novaverb to violate laws, infringe rights, or access systems without permission.
- Running crawls against domains you do not have a right to analyze when consent is required.
- Attempting to bypass verification, rate limits, security controls, crawl policies, or usage limits.
- Uploading malware, credential dumps, illegal content, or sensitive data you are not authorized to process.
- Using AI outputs to mislead users, fabricate evidence, impersonate others, or conceal material facts.
- Sending spam, phishing, abusive requests, or automated traffic that disrupts Novaverb or third-party systems.
2. Crawl responsibility
Customers must choose crawl settings that respect ownership, target-site stability, robots directives where applicable, and reasonable rate limits.
3. Domains and businesses we may decline
Novaverb may decline to open, or may end, an account or a project for any domain, at our discretion and without being required to give a reason. We do not have to show that the domain broke a rule. If we do this, we will refund the unused part of any fee you have already paid for the current billing period, and that refund is the whole of what we owe you for the decision.
Domains we are more likely to decline include those whose main business is adult or sexually explicit goods or content, gambling or betting, weapons or ammunition, controlled substances or prescription medicines, tobacco or vaping products, counterfeit or replica goods, essay or exam services, high-risk financial schemes or the promotion of crypto tokens, and anything unlawful either where you operate or where Novaverb operates.
This is a commercial decision about what Novaverb carries, not a judgment about your business, and it does not mean the business is unlawful. Some of these categories are lawful in many countries and are declined only because of the obligations they place on our payment providers, our banking relationships, and the countries we operate from.
4. Enforcement
We may suspend or limit access if we believe use of the service creates risk, violates this policy, or harms Novaverb, customers, users, or third parties.
Novaverb does not publish the domains our customers add. Projects, crawl results, and reports are private to the account that created them. A report becomes reachable by a link only when the customer chooses to share it, and those shared pages ask search engines not to index them.
