1. Roles
For customer data submitted to the platform, the customer is generally the controller or business, and Novaverb acts as processor or service provider, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
2. Processing scope
Novaverb processes customer data to provide the service, including account management, crawling, auditing, search integrations, reporting, AI-assistant responses, support, security, billing, and reliability.
3. Customer instructions
Novaverb processes customer data according to the agreement, product configuration, customer instructions, and applicable law. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis to submit or connect data to Novaverb.
4. Subprocessors
Novaverb may use subprocessors for hosting, infrastructure, security, email, payments, analytics, support, and AI infrastructure. The Subprocessors page identifies categories and may list providers as the platform matures.
5. Security measures
Novaverb applies technical and organizational measures designed to protect customer data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
6. Deletion and return
Upon account closure or written request, Novaverb will delete or return customer data where technically feasible and legally required, subject to backups, logs, billing records, security records, and legal obligations.
